Having a Doula present during labor and childbirth can enhance the pleasure of this blessed event.

Mom can relax through techniques that are taught by your Doula and a lot of stress is taken off of the father.

Philosophy

Babies are born with or without assistance. I want to make this experience the best it can be for Mom, Dad and of course the baby.

A positive birth starts well before labor begins.

Family participation is foremost in importance and having a Doula present will impact the pleasure of childbirth and the satisfaction of the whole process for all concerned.

Experience

I have attended many births since 1974 when I worked in Labor and Delivery during my own pregnancy. I have also acted as a childbirth assistant to 9 of my 20 grandchildren.

I work with doctors, midwives and nurses in Colorado Springs and Pueblo Colorado in hospital settings.

I have assisted with vaginal, cesarean and VBAC births and my clients have ranged in age from 16 to 39 years old.

All had varying ideas of how their birth experience should be and together we worked to achieve a very positive and wonderful outcome.
